SCOOTER enthusiast Giulio Armillei has tied the knot.
And, true to form, the Huddersfield man's wedding to Julie Laverty involved one of his two beloved two-wheelers.
The pair travelled from the wedding at Scarborough Register Office to the nearby reception on Giulio's beautifully-restored Lambretta 175cc machine.
Giulio, 44 - Dukesy to his mates - is a Huddersfield man, with family in Edgerton and Outlane. Julie is from Scarborough, where the couple now live.
They met at the resort, when Giulio was DJ at a Northern Soul night - his other big love.
He resurrected the Huddersfield Scooter Club in the 1970s and still travels the country to work as a DJ at scooter rallies and get-togethers of former Mods and fans of Northern Soul music.
To celebrate their wedding, the pair also held a party at The Pavilion in Fartown for 250 guests from across Britain - again on the scooter and soul theme.
