CRICKET stars of tomorrow are being invited to a series of masterclasses at Primrose Hill Cricket Club.
The club has been chosen as this summer's venue for the Lord Taverners Street Cricket Programme - and any child who wants to try their hand at batting, bowling and fielding is welcome to attend.
Tony Bowry, from the Yorkshire Cricket Board is heading the team of coaches to pass on tips to keen youngsters.
The weekly sessions, the only ones in Yorkshire, are running every Wednesday at Primrose Hill, Cross Lane, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm. They continue through August and into September.
Youngsters aged between eight and 14 can simply turn up on the night. All sessions are free. Children can stay for one session or attend all of them.
Organisers brought the classes to Huddersfield due to the volume of demand.
About 60 people have turned up to two sessions so far.
The sessions are aimed at children who have never experienced the game before.
