PROUD parents have just 10 days left to show off their bonny babies in the Examiner’s Baby of the Year 2007 contest.
Once again, we are seeking out the cutest kids from our circulation area to enter the competition, which is being run in association with John Woods Photography and Byram Arcade.
Mums and dads who want to enter their little angels should visit Byram Arcade on Westgate before September 15 to take part in the competition photography sessions.
Children will have a professional portrait photo taken by John Woods Photography and parents will be offered the chance to buy further copies of the picture at specially reduced rates.
The photography sessions will be every day except Sundays from 10am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
The photographs will run in the Examiner and readers will vote for the child they think should be crowned Baby of the Year 2007.
The winner of the competition will receive a copy of their portrait and, of course, the Examiner Baby of the Year 2007 trophy.
Last year’s winner was 11-month-old Annabell Crossley, from Lowerhouses.
Annabell’s angelic smile encouraged 887 people to vote for her in the final which led to her coming top out of 596 entrants.
Competition rules state that all entrants must be aged three or under on September 15 this year and must live within the Examiner circulation area.
All photos submitted must be taken by John Woods Photography and the competition is closed to previous winners or employees of Trinity Mirror and their families.
