A SECOND teenager has appeared in court accused of robbing Huddersfield shopkeeper Gurmail Singh two days before his death.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before Huddersfield Youth Court today.
He is accused of robbery at Cowcliffe Convenience Stores on February 18.
The youth entered a plea of not guilty during the brief proceedings.
He now faces a two-day trial at the court, starting on August 23.
Magistrates granted the teenager conditional bail.
The conditions are that he does not contact a named party or go within 200 yards of Cowcliffe.
In April a 17-year-old student was given a six-month detention order after admitting robbing Mr Singh in his shop.
Two days after the incident the 63-year-old was attacked in his shop and died from head injuries.
The five men accused of his murder are currently awaiting trail.
