YOUNG musicians have raised thousands of pounds to help wounded servicemen and women.

Sellers Engineers of Chapel Hill, Huddersfield, presented just over £3,000 to the Help for Heroes charity.

The cash was raised through a charity concert staged in St Paul’s Hall just before Christmas.

The event was organised by Sellers International Youth Band.

The 36-strong brass band has members aged between eight and 19.

The band regularly perform to raise money for good causes.
