A GEOGRAPHY teacher who was convicted of kissing a 15-year-old male pupil at school was being sentenced today.
Shelley White, 25, has been told she will not be sent to jail after being found guilty of "snogging" the teenage pupil on three occasions.
White, of High Green, Sheffield, was found guilty on three counts of abuse of trust by sexual activity with a child.
She denied the accusations, claiming the boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, made advances towards her and physically assaulted her.
The court was told she engineered situations so she could be alone with the 6ft pupil who attended a West Yorkshire school.
