ITALIAN restaurant chain Frankie & Benny's has had a successful fundraising effort.
The company is aiming for a nationwide total of £150,000 for the BBC's Children In Need appeal.
And its Huddersfield restaurant has been helping to raise money.
A charity fun day in Huddersfield on Mother's Day saw about 1,000 balloons being released. Each one was sponsored by a customer on the day.
Also a hamper full of goods was raffled.
It contained such things as an Easter egg, a bottle of brandy and various vouchers for high street shops.
Sam Burnell, general manager at the Huddersfield restaurant, said: "It was a fabulous event.
"We're running various events throughout the year and we aim to hand over a big cheque for the charity in November."
The restaurant chain has so far raised £30,000 nationally.
