A MAN who sexually assaulted a woman in her Huddersfield home has been jailed for seven years.

Malcolm Edwin Hargreaves, 45, tricked his way into his 52-year-old victim's home.

He sexually assaulted her while he demanded cash, Bradford Crown Court heard yesterday.

Back in 1999 Hargreaves was locked up for three years for burglary and assault with intent to rob involving another woman.

During the latest attack, on May 14 this year, Hargreaves, of Dalton Green Lane, Dalton, grabbed the woman and demanded money.

She handed over some money and gave Hargreaves a false PIN number before she managed to escape and raise the alarm.

Prosecutor Gavin Howie said the woman bit Hargreaves's tongue as he tried to kiss her and his blood was found at the scene.

Hargreaves pleaded guilty to charges of sexual assault and robbery.
