MOTORISTS are facing severe delays on the M62 today after two HGVs and a van crashed just before Junction 27 forcing all lanes to close eastbound.
At least one of the lorries is leaking diesel and fire crews and the Highways Agency are on the scene.
It is believed no-one is seriously injured.
The crash happened at around 2.30pm near the junction for Birstall and Batley.
Traffic is being diverted off the M62 from Junction 26 Cleckheaton, but hundreds of motorists are stuck in the now closed section up to Junction 27.
Further disruption was caused earlier to the westbound carriageway which was forced to temporarily close two lanes to allow emergency services to access the scene.
