A WOMAN was subjected to a sexual assault by a man asking for a light.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident at 2.30am on Friday on Bradford Road in Birkenshaw.
The 28-year-old woman was approached by a man who asked for a light before pushing her down an alleyway and subjecting her to a sexual assault.
He ran off towards Birkenshaw.
The attacker is Asian, about 5ft 6ins tall and of medium build.
