RESIDENTS in Leeds who have become victims of loan sharks and debt are being invited to share their experiences with MPs and church leaders.
Leeds West MP John Battle and the Bishop of Ripon and Leeds, the Right Rev John Packer, will be hosting a public meeting at 10.30am on Saturday at Oxford Place Methodist Church on the issues involved.
The aim is to highlight the stories behind the statistics of debt and misery caused by extortionate loans to the city's poorest people.
