A SHEEPRIDGE man has appeared in court accused of burgling a house while its occupants were asleep.

Christopher Corrigan, of Belle Vue Crescent, was before Huddersfield magistrates yesterday.

He allegedly burgled an address on Quarmby Road, Quarmby, on November 25.

During the late-night raid he is alleged to have taken a TV, games and food to an unknown value.

Corrigan, 24, gave no indication as to what his plea will be during his appearance.

Magistrates agreed that the case should be dealt with at Crown Court.

Corrigan will next appear before the magistrates on March 12.

He was granted unconditional bail.
