THE Circus of Horrors is heading back to Huddersfield.
And it’s coming back with a health warning!
The Circus of Horrors is not suitable for children and they must only be allowed in if accompanied by an adult who understands what is in the show.
The show contains some nudity and bad language, but not of a sexual nature. Strobe lighting and pyrotechnics are used in the show.
It is now 13 years since the Circus of Horrors first tramped the boards and the show has since toured relentlessly around the world achieving a cult following along the way.
Back by popular demand with a brand new show 'The Asylum', this year's Circus of Horrors promises to be horrific and terrific!
Their new show is set in an archaic institution on the edge of Paris. A sideshow owner, Dr Haze, buys the asylum to present his new show, but while Paris sleeps the inmates run riot.
'The Asylum' promises to stimulate all the senses, packed with new acts and new shocks that is set to surpass everything that has come before it.
The show still contains the crowd favourites but they are now entrapped in the asylum until they escape and run amuck into the Parisian night life. All intermingled with oddities, fakirs and death defying Circus acts.
'The Asylum' is an amazing amalgamation of witchdoctors, voodoo acrobats, a pickled person, bendy bodies, demon dwarfs, blood curdling stunts and flying vampires.
It’s all presided over by The Undead Ringmaster Dr Haze, who takes you through this hellish tale with the help of the live devil-driven rock ’n’ roll of The Interceptors From Hell. There’s also a huge uncontrollable cast of Burlesque Beauties, and some of the world's greatest, grotesque, most daring and bizarre circus acts.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult and the show is not recommended for under 12s.
The performers will return to Huddersfield Town Hall on Sunday, November 18 at 7.30pm with tickets priced at £10-£20 from Kirklees booking offices. Ticket hotline: 01484 223200.
