SHOTGUN robbers who stole a car from three men forced them to push it to get it started.
One of the robbers then drove off in it, leaving them stranded.
The victims were chatting in the grounds of the Pavilion function room, off Spaines Road, Fartown, at 11pm on Wednesday when two men threatened them with what seemed to be a shotgun.
They forced them to hand over their mobile phones.
One of the thieves got in one of the victim's cars, a blue Honda Civic.
He could not start it, so he forced the three to push him into Spaines Road, where he got the car started.
The robber drove up Bradford Road, towards the Asda store. The man with the gun fled on foot down an alleyway near Corby Street.
The car, number H810 CAM, is still missing.
Both robbers are African-Caribbeans in their mid-20s, about 6ft 2in tall and athletically-built. They wore black clothes.
The gunman wore a balaclava. His accomplice wore a hat and had his coat pulled up to his eyes.
Anyone with information, or who sees the car, should contact Det Con Ian Thornes at Huddersfield CID on 01484 436582.
