A WOMAN held police at bay for almost three hours in a siege drama at Holmfirth.
The 43-year-old woman had gone to Turner Brothers garage on Woodhead Road at around 4.30pm yesterday to retrieve a car.
Police were called when other vehicles in the compound were damaged.
The woman from Newsome is then understood to have doused herself in fuel and threatened to set herself alight.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were sent to the scene.
Armed officers are also believed to have been involved in the drama.
The woman was arrested at 7.30pm last night.
A police spokesman confirmed: "A woman was arrested and taken to Huddersfield police station for questioning.
"She remains in custody this morning."
No-one was hurt in the incident.
