PRIVATE hire cabs could get new signs in a bid to make them more recognisable and boost people's confidence in using them.
Kirklees Council is set to approve changes amid concerns passengers can't easily see the details on some cars.
Drivers will have to have signs of the same design if the move is approved by a town hall meeting next Monday.
Licensing officer Doug Holliday said some of the present signs failed to show the council logo and the car licence number.
