A SEARCH to find Huddersfield couples who spent their honeymoon at a Lake District hotel 25 years ago is being carried out as part of a romantic celebration.
Christine and Anthony Harrison are starting their 25th year in business at the Smallwood House Hotel in Ambleside.
Now they are trying to find Huddersfield couples who stayed at the hotel after marrying in 1988, to offer them a silver anniversary discount.
If a couple stayed at the Smallwood on their honeymoon, then they can book in to stay for one night at the 1988 price, as part of a three-night break.
Christine Harrison said: “We remember that several original honeymooners were from Huddersfield.
