TWO brothers have been voted best duo by regulars at Yorkshire's working men's clubs.

Pete and Tim Szoradi, of Meltham, received the honour in the annual Club Scene Readers' Awards.

Club Scene is a magazine devoted to club singing and circulates mainly in working men's clubs.

Each year, forms are printed on the back of the publication to allow club members to vote for their favourite acts of the year.

Pete, 39, and Tim, 28, have been performing as a duo in working men's clubs since May, 2001.

Under the name The Soradis they have concentrated most of their gigs in Huddersfield.

But they are moving further afield.

The pair are well- known for their renditions of Simon and Garfunkel songs and Everly Brothers classics, as well as tracks by UB40 and David Bowie.

It is the first time the brothers have won an award from Club Scene.
