A NEW health centre for Brighouse could be built close to the town’s sports club.
The site in Bradford Road has emerged as favourite after a survey among local patients.
Now health officials plan to debate the merits of that site – and an alternative in Lawson Road, in July before making a final decision.
Figures from the survey showed 2,096 preferred the sports club site and 1,617 opted for Lawson Road.
The planned new multi-million pound centre would replace the facilities in Lawson Road and provide new premises for the Church Lane and Rydings Hall surgeries.
