SIX people were hurt in a two-car crash in Huddersfield.

All were taken to Calderdale Royal Hospital after the accident in Grimescar Road, Grimescar, on Thursday night.

The casualties, including three people from London, were all treated for neck and back injuries and bruises.

Police said a car being driven by a young woman from Halifax had pulled up at the side of the road when her mobile phone rang. The car was then hit by another car heading in the same direction, driven by a young man from London.

The crash happened at 9.50pm.
