Concert-goers swelled a charity fund in memory of a teenager’s skate park appeal.

Since Isaac Atkinson was found hanged in his bedroom in 2012 his family and friends have done all they can to ensure his memory lives on.

Yesterday a concert and art auction took place to contribute towards the £55,000 needed to improve and expand the skate park facilities in Holmfirth.

Folk acts Old Man Pie and Druce and Jones were joined by 10 other bands at the Picturedrome to raise money for the Skate4Isaac Group.

Isaac was one of those leading the cause until his death and his friends Emily-Jane Cappleman, Harry Hale, Toby Munroe, Jake Oversby and Georgina Kitch have continued the fight.

Proceeds go to the Sands Skate park appeal. They had raised £29,500 before yesterday’s event.
