THE trial of a man accused of murdering a 65-year-old man has been delayed.
James Spencer, 24, of Lidgett Lane, Skelmanthorpe, is charged with murdering Peter Green, also of Skelmanthorpe, in October.
His trial at Bradford Crown Court was due to start yesterday but was adjourned until September 21.
Spencer, dressed in a dark suit and blue striped tie, appeared at court yesterday and spoke only to confirm his name and acknowledge the instructions of Judge Scott Wolstenholme.
The defendant was remanded in custody until his trial which is expected to last seven days.
