LITTLE Kaitlyn Hobson is ecstatic after being reunited with her beloved teddy.

The Examiner ran an appeal yesterday (inset) to help find Doggy after the two-year-old lost it in the town centre on Sunday.

She had been unable to sleep properly after losing Doggy, which went everywhere with her.

But after seeing the story, staff at Argos in the town centre called Kaitlyn’s mother to say they had found Doggy and had kept it safe all week.

Mum Kathryn, of Skelmanthorpe, said: “She was ecstatic about it, as soon as she got hold of the teddy she kept saying ‘I’ve missed you’.

“She was over the moon and hopefully will now be able to sleep much better.”

Kaitlyn, who attends Hawthorns Day Nursery, has had Doggy since her 1st birthday.

She would sleep with the teddy and even take it into the nursery, where all the other children knew Doggy as hers.

The Examiner was also contacted by other readers saying they had similar teddy’s they would be willing to give Kaitlyn if Doggy was not found.
