A SLAITHWAITE man appeared in magistrates court yesterday after breaching bail conditions.

Stuart Whiston, of Longroyd Crescent, is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on September 12.

His bail conditions are residence and a curfew between 7pm and 7am.

However Whiston was not at the address when officers called on August 17.

He told police that he’d had an argument with his girlfriend and thought it best to leave the property.

He then contacted police and made arrangements to come into custody.

Magistrates agreed to re-bail him on the same conditions as previously.
