TWO Huddersfield men have appeared in court in connection with separate child sex offences.
Each has been charged with a string of alleged sex offences.
Roy Allen Stobbs (pictured below), of the Hollow in Slaithwaite, and Christopher James Metcalfe, of High Brooms in Birkby, appeared in separate hearings at Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Stobbs, 58, is charged with over 20 offences of making or possessing indecent or pseudo images of children.
Metcalfe, 37, is charged with 17 offences.
They include inciting sexual activity with a minor, sexual assault of a minor and possessing indecent photos of children.
The charges against Stobbs and Metcalfe are unrelated.
Both cases were adjourned after brief applications to the court yesterday.
The men will both return to Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court on March 18.
