A DOORMAN was slashed across the face after stopping a group entering a nightclub.
The 20-year-old, from Meltham, was attacked as he worked on the door outside Rhythms in Indigo in Northumberland Street, Huddersfield, at 1.45am on Saturday.
He and a colleague stopped a group of youths from going in because they were not dressed correctly.
At that point one of the gang hit a doorman and the 20-year-old grabbed another of the youths.
He was then slashed across his right cheek by a man in his late teens.
The doorman has now had plastic surgery at Bradford Royal Infirmary.
