PUPILS of a Lepton school are extra proud to be wearing their new uniform.
The smart blue pullovers with a traditional shirt and tie were chosen by the children at Lepton C of E Junior and Infant School and their parents.
Youngsters compiled a questionnaire to send out to parents asking them to vote on the uniform they liked the best before the summer break.
Deputy head Helen Lever said staff were surprised by the choice.
"We thought they would choose the more casual polo neck shirts many schools have these days," she said.
"But instead they went for the shirt and tie with the electric blue pullovers.
"The children have even told me they wanted ties because it makes them feel more grown up.
"I think they all look very smart."
