THIS drama was all smoke and no real fire at a rural fish and chip shop.
Firefighters were called to Gary Ramsden’s fish and chips on High Street in Clayton West at around 7pm last night to tackle the fire in the flue system.
It caused a lot of smoke, but little damage.
A powerful pressure fan was used to clear smoke from the small bungalow building.
No-one was hurt.The drama was captured by Examiner reader Helen Sansom.
