AN elderly woman was slightly hurt when her cigarette blew up oxygen.
She was smoking in her sheltered housing flat on Keldregate at Bradley and using an oxygen machine at the same time at 6.20pm on Monday.
The oxygen reacted with the cigarette and a slight blast occurred.
She suffered minor facial burns and also breathed in smoke.
The smoke triggered fire alarms and firefighters were sent from Huddersfield and Dewsbury.
