Snow has fallen across Huddersfield on Easter Monday.

Some road have closed, including the A6024 Woodhead / Holme Moss Road closed due to snow between A635 Greenfield Road ( Holmfirth ) and A628 Woodhead Pass (High Peak).

Parts of the Colne Valley, Holme Valley and Huddersfield woke up to snow, and it's forecast to continue to fall this morning.

All lanes re-opened on M606 but traffic still slow

All lanes have been re-opened after an earlier accident on the M606 northbound.
The road was closed until around 17:40. The vehicles have now been recovered and carriageway clean up has been completed.

Affecting traffic travelling to Bradford.

M606/M62 incident

There has been a crash involving three vehicles.

West Yorkshire Police has tweeted this:

We understand the M62 is moving fine, and it’s the incident referred to earlier, northbound on the M606.

Even when they face difficulties the gritters plough on, although not this one.

One ended up in a ditch today - just shows how bad it was out there & how risky it was for drivers.

Lane two and three (of three) is closed. It happened at 2.20pm.
