A SERIES of free family activity days is being held at Dewsbury Museum.

Each of the weekly sessions of crafts and games will have a different theme.

On Friday, August 1, activities will be linked to Yorkshire Day and on Friday, August 8, sessions will celebrate Playday, the annual national celebration of children's right to play.

On Friday, August 15, the theme will be the Olympics and on Friday, August 22, youngsters can enjoy Chinese-inspired activities.

There will be two sessions on each day, from 10.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 4pm.

Activities will not be suitable for large groups or playschemes.

Children under eight years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
