FOOTBALL fun and skills for all is to be the name of the game at Holmfirth Sports Centre.
A set of coaching courses for boys and girls is to be part of the Kirklees Sports Development Team summer coaching programme.
The courses are an introduction to mini soccer for five-to 11-year- olds and include skills coaching and a mini tournament.
Everyone who takes part will receive an attendance certificate and a football memento.
The girls' only course is for seven- to 11-year-olds and a nursery course for girls and boys aged five to six.
Both will be held on Tuesday, August 23, from 10.30 to 3.30pm and cost £13 each.
There is a two day mini-soccer course for seven- to 10-year-old boys and girls from 10.30 to 3.30pm on Wednesday and Thursday, August 24 and 25, costing £22 for the two-day session.
All courses are held outdoors.
The football courses are aimed at new and inexperienced players and will include coaching sessions, fun activities and a chance to develop new skills.
