HUDDERSFIELD: A five-a- side football tournament to raise money for charity is taking place on Sunday. Thirty-two teams will battle it out at the Sports Centre. All money raised from donations and teams' fees will go towards charities working with victims of the Pakistan earthquake. The event is the brainchild of Javed Akhtar, who urged people to come along and cheer the teams on. He hopes to raise at least £3,000. Teams are from across West Yorkshire, Bury and Rochdale. Kick-off is at 10am and teams qualify for the knock-out rounds through group stages.
