KEEN fundraiser Ann-Marie Dyson is continuing to speak up for a good cause, despite having her tonsils removed.

The Bradley woman plans to compere a charity night for Kirkwood Hospice at the White Cross in Bradley just days after coming out of hospital.

Speaking last week before heading to the Calderdale Royal Hospital for the surgery, Ann-Marie promised to be at the pub on Fridayas planned.

She said: “I expect to be in hospital overnight and after that I’ll be feeling quite groggy but that’s not going to stop me.”

Anne-Marie, who works as an independent consultant for candle company PartyLite, explained the fundraising night.

She said: “There will be a raffle and a guess the weight of the candle competition.”
