SPELLING and shape-spotting has helped to raise more than £1,300 for the child cruelty charity NSPCC.
Children from Kirkburton CofE First School took part in a sponsored spell and sessions of recognising and colouring shapes to raise cash.
The event in September followed a visit by the NSPCC’s representative Dawn Turner.
