HUDDERSFIELD people are being urged to take part in a sponsored walk in aid of Help The Aged.
The charity’s Big Spring Walk is due to take place from April 25 to 27.
People can take part by organising sponsored walks or even just fitting walking into their everyday lives and making a donation.
There are also walks organised by Help The Aged to join, including one at Lister Park in Bradford on May 4 and Hillsborough Park in Sheffield on May 11.
The event, now in its second year, aims to raise money and awareness of the health benefits of walking.
All the money raised from the Big Spring Walk will go towards Help The Aged’s work in tackling poverty among older people.
