SPORTING legends teamed up for a ‘They Think It’s All Over’ charity challenge.

Former Huddersfield Giant and New Zealand New Zealand international Robbie Paul were among the famous faces taking part in Game Set Match Live at St Paul’s Hall, Huddersfield University.

The event, based on the popular BBC comedy quiz show, raised cash for Yorkshire Air Ambulance as part of Huddersfield Town’s Keep It Up campaign.

From the worlds of rugby, former Giants and Bradford Bulls star Robbie Paul captained a team against former Bradford City and Middlesbrough hero John Hendrie.

The sports greats were joined by Bradford City and Hull City icon Dean Windass, Giants player Brad Drew, former Huddersfield Town manager Andy Ritchie and ex-Bradford Bulls and New Zealand star Henry Paul.

Team captain Robbie said: “Game Set Match Live is an excellent idea to raise money for the cause.

“I have done a Question Of Sport before and after meeting with the organisers knew this was going to be a good laugh.

“It was a great evening and fundraiser too.”

The charity evening was organised by Huddersfield University sports promotion marketing students Elliot Thompson, Jon Nash and Christopher Davies.
