FAMILIES can get sporty with a fun walk and crafts in Dewsbury on Wednesday, July 23.
The ABC (Adult, Baby and Child) walk, led by members of the Kirklees Physical Activity Development Team, starts at the library on Railway Street at 11.30am. Children are encouraged to wear sporty outfits to fit in with an Olympic theme.
After the walk, which will last around 40 minutes, youngsters will return to the library, where they will make their own Olympic medals.
There is no charge to take part and no booking is necessary; families should just turn up on the day.
A similar event is being held in Batley on Friday, August 8, starting at Batley Library in the Market Place at 10.30am.
