It's a beautiful day!

Huddersfield was bathed in Spring sunshine on Monday - just in time to return to work for many!

The sunny weather nudged the temperature into double figures with most areas touching at least 10 degrees - but feeling much warmer in direct sunshine.

The good news is that the weather seems set to stay for most of the week.

The Met Office say that the rest of the working week will be similar - with patches of cloud later into the week.

Temperatures will be roughly similar to today - but the blue skies mean no cloud cover at night, so temperatures could get down as low as two degrees in some places.

By Friday however, it looks to be getting cloudier - and as for the weekend, well we'll update you later in the week when we've got a better idea!

The sunshine brings with it some fantastic sunsets and sunrises, click on the story below to see some fantastic shots of amazing skies over Huddersfield.
