A WOMAN has appeared in court accused of assaulting a bank worker.
Well-dressed Zia Ul-Qamar, of Springdale Avenue, pleaded not guilty to assault at Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
The 32-year-old is alleged to have assaulted worker Catherine Lockwood at the town’s Halifax bank on February 22 this year.
Ul-Qamar also denied using threatening words or behaviour to cause alarm or distress.
Magistrates ordered her to attend court again on June 23.
Ul-Qamar was granted unconditional bail.
