A man threatened to send naked pictures of his ex to her family after their relationship ended, a court heard.
Alfred Bratton bombarded his former partner with dozens of messages despite police warning him to leave her alone.
He pleaded guilty to harassment when he appeared at Kirklees Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
The court heard that the couple’s relationship ended late last year.
Prosecutor Alex Bozman said that in October she reported to police that Bratton had harassed her. As a result police issued the 50-year-old with a harassment warning on November 3.
But on Christmas Eve the Newsome woman received 4O texts from Bratton.
Mr Bozman said: “These included picture messages showing her naked on the bed and pictures of her breast.
“In other messages he threatened to send them to family members and threatened to go to her workplace.
“She was concerned that he would carry out the threat.”
In total Bratton, of Fifth Avenue East in Liversedge, sent his ex 70 text messages and picture messages between December 24 and 26.
Bratton admitted harassment but claimed that he wouldn’t have sent any pictures to a third party.
District Judge Michael Fanning ordered a full report before Bratton’s sentencing on January 27.
In the meantime he is banned from contacting his ex.
