RAIL enthusiasts will be hosting a feast of steam engine fun next month.
Bouquet of Steam, Kirklees Light Railway’s (KLR) sixth annual Steam Gala, will feature visiting engines from as far as Peru.
The event, which takes place over the weekend of September 10 and 11, includes locomotives made in the USA and Germany.
Rides on these engines will be available from Clayton West to Shelley alongside trips on KLR-owned trains.
Stuart Ross, from KLR, said: “This is a very different event for us this year. It will have a very international theme.”
