COMPUTER store chain PC Friend opened a new shop on New Street, Huddersfield, on Saturday with a fundraising event for the Save The Children charity.
The independent chain, which has branches in Morley, Doncaster and Wakefield, sells computers and accessories.
Sales director Steve Hopkins said: “We had a lady in collecting for Save The Children and we hope to have raised a couple of hundred pounds. Anything raised during the day we will double.”
Customers were also entertained by stiltwalkers handing out balloons.
