A `STORK' has been spotted stalking fish in Dalton.
Amazed Bob Lewis could hardly believe his eyes when he looked out of the window at his daughter's home and spotted the bird taking an unhealthy interest in the fish in the garden pond.
Bob, who was at the house on Picton Way at 8am yesterday, said: "The pond is covered by a net.
"When the stork realised he could not get to the fish he flew off."
A birdwatcher said: "The bird was more likely to be a common heron. Storks are wintering in Africa right now."
