A MAN who died after an incident at a Wakefield club was a student in Huddersfield.
Mr Mark Green, 32, died of injuries he sustained during an incident at the Downtown Club last weekend.
Mr Green was a student at Huddersfield University.
He was taking a Diploma in Higher Education in adult nursing.
A University spokes- man said: "It has come as a terrible shock to everyone on the course.
"Mark was a well- respected and well- liked member of the course.
"It was terrible news to hear what had happened to him."
Mr Green, a single man, lived in the Wrenthorpe area of Wakefield.
A man in his 30s is being questioned about the death.
