A HUDDERSFIELD school is one step closer to raising enough money to achieve specialist status.
So far All Saints Catholic High School, Bradley Bar, has raised more than £8,700 and is hoping to net a total of £50,000 by September this year.
The school intends to apply for humanities status in September.
A race night and raffle saw pupils taking part in pancake flipping and raffle ticket selling.
Raffle prizes were given.
Winner Mr Flammer won £1,000, with runners-up bagging prizes including a DVD player.
