THE Students’ Union at the University of Huddersfield has won a national award.

The Union has received the bronze award for SUEI (Students' Union Evaluation Initiative).

The award examines services provided to students and helps improve them where necessary.

It has taken two years for Huddersfield officials to earn the award.

Matt Christie, UHSU President, said: “SUEI has been a two-year process of evaluation and identifying where we can improve.

“It is a credit to all the staff and officers at UHSU to receive the bronze award for SUEI. It’s evidence that the whole organisation is striving to continuously improve and make student life better.”
