FORMER students of Huddersfield's Beaumont Street Studios have been showing off their work to prospective pupils.

People who have completed video editing, music technology and radio production courses at Beaumont Street Studios returned on September 3 to make presentations at an open day.

They showed examples of their work and spoke to people considering enrolling at the adult education centre in September.

Yvonne Gilbert, training manager, said: "We thought it would be better than just having members of the BSS team or tutors talking.

"It was excellent. We had people here all day."

There are still places on courses at Beaumont Street Studios for students who want to study in September.

Students must live within Kirklees, but only certain people are eligible for courses, because of the way Beaumont Street Studios is funded.

It is a non-profit organisation which receives funding from different sources.

Different funding sources allocate money for different types of students.

To find out if you are eligible, contact Beaumont Street Studios on 01484 452013, call in to the offices or visit www.bsscourses.co.uk on the internet.
