Success at Elland school’s centenary run

JEROME Castelow was the winner of an Elland school’s centenary run.

The Brooksbank School yesterday held a fun run for pupils and the wider community as part of the school’s 100 year celebrations.

And they helped raise funds for Overgate Hospice too, the school’s chosen charity of the year.

There was a 5k Senior Race, a 2k Junior Race and a 5k Fun Run for adults and youngsters and it included a challenging climb up to Blackley.
