PADDOCK Surgery will close its doors for the final time tomorrow.
The health centre will finish dispensing advice and help at 12.45pm.
From Monday GPs will be working from a temporary site at the rear of the YMCA building on New Street in Milnsbridge.
The Examiner reported in June last year how Dr Boulton and Partners were given the go-ahead by their local primary care trust to develop and build a new surgery in Milnsbridge.
Dr Boulton said they expected to be at their temporary home for up to 12 months.
He added: "We have outgrown the premises at the Triangle in Paddock and despite years of trying, we have been unable to secure a development in the same location.
"By moving into a purpose-built practice our patients will benefit from improved facilities and we also hope to extend the range of services."
